2130 - Leaking hydraulic oil at base of steering column

Hello,

I have a JD 2130 that is leaking oil at the base of the steering column. It leaks the most while turning the wheel. You can see the leak in this video:

I found a pretty comprehensive explanation of how to fix a similar problem on a 2040, but I'd like to get your opinion if this is the right plan.

Thanks in advance,
Steve

The "steering column"/power steering unit is self-contained. Hydraulic oil/pressure/flow is supplied by the line and fitting in your photo. Unused oil or return oil from steering is simply dumped out of the bottom of the unit where it finds it's was back to "sump". Unless there's something unusual cracked or broken, you have a simple gasket leak issue.

Ditto what Bob stated but you'll need to also remove side plate to gain access to remove pin(key 4) so steering valve can be separated from clutch housing or one would need to cut mounting gasket(L62422).
1 ea- L62423 Gasket - GASKET ADD 4.35 USD
1 ea- L62422 Gasket - GASKET ADD 3.50 USD
