What are the proper idle and hi ( no load ) engine speeds for the 60 and 70 tractors? The manual is kinda confusing.

That 975 rpm sounds like rated speed under load.

Fast idle ( wide open no load ) should be a little higher. 1050 or 1100 ? I'd have to read up on them.

slow idle is around 500 rpm ?

Fast idle, no load speed is 1115 rpm. Slow idle speed is supposed to be 600 rpm. I usually set them a little slower than that. The 975 rpm setting is rated speed, load applied. Mike
