JD B 5-1 Sleeve needed

Working on a electric start B. Can
remeber the year right now. Long story
short it sat for a while and gotten
coolant in the #2 cylinder. Ive got the
block and #2 piston out of frame and
tried pressing the piston out and sleeve
came with piston. Tried pressing the
piston out of sleeve and snap.....cracked
the sleeve. Piston is out now. Really
dirty. Now owner needs a price on sleeve
and rings for 5" bore Powerblock. Any
help ? Looked at Stieners and didnt find
what I need...

A good machine shop should be able to fix you right up.

IIRC there is an outfit called extreme john deere ? they make puller parts and maybe even those power block parts.

I called Steiners and they didnt have any and told me theyre getting obsolete !!! Didnt really let that soak in very far. Called Extreme and yes, those guys can make them but gunna be atleast a month before itd be done. Then its machine work....Owner doesnt want to spend that much on it. Thanks guys !

Get a good used regular block and then sell the power block to a puller.
