Probably best show I have been to but if you don't like John Deere you might not think so

Tractors from Georgia,North Carolina to Colorado and every state in between,Alabama,Mississippi,Minnisota,Michigan,Ohio,Deleware,Pensylvania.I might be missing some states but you get the idea.Looked like over 200 G's not counting all the other models.

As much as I bleed red and continue to farm red to this day I still enjoy 2 cylinder technology.

(quoted from post at 14:02:43 07/30/17) any pictures? would love to see some

Here are a few pics. However, these are merely a very small sample of the amazing variety of rare and unusual tractors that you will almost never see together. Truly a remarkable show. I understand there were (unofficial numbers) 252 "G's", a total of 505 John Deeres, and 803 total tractors at this show.....

The "Bathtub D" - the only one existing; built from a carcass excavated from a construction site at the old John Deere factory.

"D" S/N 30404 - the oldest one known - fourth one off the line.

One of the two "Beet G's" at the show - with long axles on one side.

An experimental "G" from the Keller collection - a "High-radiator" "G" without the "John Deere" lettering on the top tank - this was one testing the larger tank design.

The oldest "G" at the show - 5th one off the line.

And the very last "G" off the line, with the person who bought it and discovered what he had (and who restored it and showed it at the first and several later EXPOs - blue shirt) and his friend who purchased it later. It was just sold again last month but I didn't have a chance to get a picture of the new owner.

Great show. Pulled my 435. Did alright. Put a face to some of the guys on this site. Even a old army buddy looked me up after I pulled. Hadn't saw him for 30 some yrs.

At the last moment, my Son decided not to bring his mint restored G # 1006. I did bring a nice original Lycoming/Deere combine engine and left in the bed of my STERLING pick up truck, It was a Very nice show

Your absolutely right Gold Leaf. 1006 should have been there along with several other G's that reside in my barn. Just couldn't make that happen.

(quoted from post at 05:42:17 07/31/17) Do the Kellers still buy tractors ? I would
love to see there collection but just too
far away . Thanks for the pictures.
