JD 435D w/ farm loader 35 - lift cylinder seals

Does anyone have a farm loader 35 manual or info on main lift cylinders. I am wanting to replace the cylinder seals because they leak. Thanks

I have a #35 on a 430, believe they would be the same. You might take a look at the parts book. to take the cylinder apart you have to back off set screw on the outer barrel then push the top(can't think of proper name) inward enough to get to the snap ring inside the cylinder barrel. After snap ring is removed it will all pull out. It is sometimes easier to pull apart while front is hooked to tractor.

I'll add that I changed the ones in my JD 35 last year, couldn't believe the difference in the way it worked. Mine didn't leak much but it definitely helped the lift on the loader with new seals. Also there is a part the book calls a "washer" that is actually the cup on the rod. I didn't order them because I thought it was just a washer so had it down for a bit. There are also 2 different cylinders used depending upon when built.

free parts book on the JD web site.

Thank you I have ordered from Greenparts. The online manual was exactly what I needed. Greenparts is the only place I have found it for free. I feel confident with repairing these now thanks to all your help. I replaced all the hydraulic lines a few weeks ago. Looking forward to finally getting this loader operational. The 430 and 435 are same except the front mounting plate is offset and the front cross member needed lengthened to install. This loader came off a 430 and was sitting for years so it needed some work.

*** Does anyone know where I can get a set of stands to mount the loader on when not installed on the tractor?
Thanks again for the help
