4020 oil in radiator

Greetings! I had posted this inquiry in tractor talk was suggested to post for John Deere experts! 4020 serial #76000. Oil in the radiator. I am a truck/diesel mechanic so am aware of oil cooler and etc. I was told the head gasket could cause oil in coolant? The head gasket is defintely leaking and we are going after it too. Can the oil for rockers leak to the coolant at head gasket on a 4020? also could it be the gasket under cooler leaking as It appears that could also cause issue? Cooler is a pretty robust design but then again it has been around for a while! Thanks for input. Oh yeah is the Y T head gasket set a good choice?

Most likely the oil cooler as far as getting quanity of oil in the radiator. Also possible a bad block or head casting(cracked or porous) to leak oil from a pressure galley into a coolant cavity.

There is an oil pressure passage between the head and block on the right rear of the engine to oil the rocker shaft...and the push-rod passages are all on the right side of the head...this is why Deere engines commonly leak oil from the head gasket on the right side. I've never seen that get oil into the coolant though.

I doubt it..but it is possible somebody poured oil into the radiator. I have seen folks pump fuel into the radiator and put anti-freeze or water into the fuel tank!!...I guess sometimes people get confused which cap is what??

Thanks I will just remove the cooler and inspect that to see what we have. it appears to leak around the base any way.
