DLTX 51 question

I have a DLTX 51 off of our G. I've taken all the drill plugs out and used the drill bits from Roberts to open them back up. Last night I took the nozzle out because the tractor will stumble when trying to speed up. I've got it all cleaned up and I'm wondering what the orientation should be when putting it back in? I think the tiny tube on the side of it was facing the intake (choke) side. Wanted to double check it was put in right by the person that had it apart last.

That position does not matter. On that carb. there is an extra little hole for more gas to get into that center nozzle area in addition to the hole where the load adjustment needle goes. Make sure that extra hole is open too.

Could you maybe show me on a diagram where that hole is? Is it hole #3?

That link did not work but I think I found it and # 3 is the "secret passage" it is down lower than that IIRC. Only that late G carb. has it.
