4010 noise in hydraulics update.

Hello all,
some may remember my project earlier this year of rebuilding the hydraulics/ steering/ brakes & rockshaft systems on our 4010. Since then there's been an annoying "chattering" in the
pressure pipe from the pump to the pressure control valve. I've gone through most of the systems a 2nd time trying to find the cause & replaced a few more parts hoping for the cure.
Same noise. The company I bought the front pump from sent me another one. Same noise. Today I put a new coupler/ pins & bushings on. Same noise. Pump was against upper plate,
made clearance for it. Same noise.
My next test is to put it to work in the fields & whatever happens happens. I've run out of patience & time to be messing around with it anymore.
Thank you all for your ideas & suggestions on possible causes/ cures. I appreciated them.

Have you tried to isolate the noise cause (tracotr or pump) by putting a plug on the pump pressure pipe?
Does the pump makes the same noise with the destroker on?

I haven't tried plugging the pressure line, but have plugged off each system (rockshaft, steering, brakes) with no change. A couple weeks ago I was messing around with pressures &
when I brought it down to 1700 psi the noise was mostly gone. I put an NOS priority valve on it that was correct for the numbers that were on the old one.
I'm going to record the noise & see if I can get it to post here after work today.

Noise may be coming from a partially closed valve.....that would create heat.

If you have one of the infrared thermometer guns, you might locate the noise with it.

JMO and HTHs

Please try to plug the pressure line. Then this would isolate the problem to the priority valve.

Could that be that the tiny priority valve vent line is plugged and prevent it from working properly?

I'll check the bleed line & cap the pressure line. Might be Friday before I can get to it. I'll post results.
I've attached a link to a video of it and the noise it makes.
Thanks
Ken
This better work
