MT plow

I picked up this two way plow for my MT. Can someone provide information on how it mounts under the tractor and the model number. I don't have any mounting brackets under the center of the tractor. Thanks Steve

That is an M3 Plow.

It is for the M, not MT. The "pole" is most likely not long enough to firmly stick through the depth control device.

The two way plow for the MT is similar to the other John Deere Row Crops (A's, B's, G's & H's) as it pulls from the front of the tractor, in this case the cultivator brackets below the radiator on the MT.

Where are you located?
 
You have a nice M3 or M3a or M3b plow there. I have the same one less colter so for me Monday, it mounts to the Milwaukee by the long pole resting in the bracket mounted in the middle of the tractor then a pin attaches the triangular piece to the drawbar. Not 100% sure but I don't think this was made to mount to an MT.

Yep had one of those on my M when I was a teenager. That thing would really flip some soil over. Had a U shaped bracket under the belly for the rod to go into.
Maybe James Howell will chime in with some info.

I collected a few M series plows and found the first two I had collected had the short poles! Did not work at all on my MT. I you are putting that on a MT go slow the first pull to make sure that plow is the MT plow. When that thing comes out of that front bracket holy cow. I bet if you search I had a thread somewhere on here about it. Ended up having a local welder make two of those poles into one and was going to swap back and forth between plows but then I found two more plows cheap at an auction.

I have a spare belly bracket for a MT as well as some parts for that plow including shares and maybe even a landside or two if you need anything.
