Theres a 444 loader comming up for sale does any one know anything about these. Things to look for parts availability are they any good i know starting to get a few years under its belt

Is it followed by a letter, or is it just a 444?
I have a 444e... GREAT LOADER. The older ones (444,444C, 444D) had a different torque converter- I think an Allison?- that could cause trouble, and was expensive to fix. Most, however, could go a lot of hours without issue. A good test on those is to load with the loader. If you can push into a pile or gravel or something and spin the wheels in low range, you shouldn't have any issues for awhile
