Have my tractor restored and looks nice; one problem left- when I lock the hand clutch in gear or push it ahead; it hits the back side of the headlight...actually slides up the side of it when it locks...not good! Is this adjustable? Thanks.

Sometimes it's a fine line adjustment between headlamp and knee cap. LOL. Rebushing the linkage helps if it is sloppy.

On my 720 D I drilled the holes in the clevis, and installed oversize pins to take the slop out of the joints.

My 48 A the clutch handle hit the hi lo shifter and I adjusted the clevis to where it wouldn't hit. I also put oversize pins in to take out the slack. Take the pin out of the pulley brake and turn the clevis to adjust so it wont hit anymore.

Hummm..sounds like you are acquainted with the procedure of plowing, hitting a rock..then cussing while you see if you will EVER Walk again...!!!

Yep..been there, done that..!!

Learned to hang my rt leg over the rt set handle while plowing....

An experience EVERY so-called "Country Boy" should experience before he calls himself a "Man"...!!!
