Trying find out if piston( pto brake ) fitting to loose ? Someone has been in it to repair before. Looks like snap ring that holds drum it place let go and let brake out of housing . Looks like new anchor pin was installed.Paint burned around anchor pin. I have tryed to smooth bore w/ J-B & hone out bore still a little rough at beginning of bore. I think it ok where o- ring sitting. Just seems pto brake loose .10 th/.20th. On a approx 2" bore -1" deep bore . I hate the thought sending out to bore new hole & sleeve . Where to find someone to bore in housing ? Need big tooling supper size drill-mill ? Line-bore ? & strip housing it only time right .And some $$$. I'm putting in new brake & hub . Trying to keep brake piston in bore as far possible. May need info where to get a new bore in housing for pto brake ? Thanks

Normally dowel pin breaks and allows
brake to spin in housing.
I have repaired several with a shaft
wear sleeve but don't remember the size.
You don't say what tractor you have but
possibly could find a housing cheaper
and quicker than machining.

I have used a ready sleeve on these using a skim of jb weld to hold it in place,I don't remember the size ether, you can get them at a bearing supply company,I have read located the anchor dowel too using a larger dowel

I'll try the ready sleeve is that same as seal saver ?? . How much play do you think it had from factory 005-010 th.?? Still need o-ring to seal bore. Thanks guys.
