One more JD B question

Radiator cap on my unstyled B was missing baffle and gasket. Ordered and received these parts. Which way does the baffle mount? I assume it's concave side to the cap, but I want to verify. Also, I assume the gasket holds it in place. What do you guys use to adhere the gasket to the cap? Permatex?

The rubber gasket goes in 1st, then the baffle plate with the lip holding the gasket in place, then a cotter key in the shaft to hold the baffle from falling down

I made my own gasket for my 1935 JD B and my grand father made his own also. I used a simple piece of tractor tire inner tube for the gasket. I then used silicone gasket marker to hold it in.

thegasket on my old unstyled G is loose, just get it lined up with radiator intake and works fine
