Working on a elec start JD B. Has coolant in #1 cylinder. Thinking pushrod tubs/seals. Am I correct ? I know it could be headgasket,block,head too. Thanks
 
Might get lucky and try retorque the head nuts.

Like the other guy said the push rod tubes (if it has them some late ones don't) will only leak into the engine oil.
 
If your getting coolant in the cylinder its probably a head gasket, cracked block or head. Here is a picture of one I just did on a 39 A
you can see the dark areas on both cylinders where gasket would be that was leaking coolant into the cylinders because the head was warped
badly probably got hot at some point. Hope this helps.

All model B's have pushrod tubes in the heads. Prior to seriel #201000 they had 4 replacable tubes after they only had 2.
