Is the oil filter the same as styled B? Which filter # is it? Is it located in same place as styled B?

"Which filter # is it?"

Tractor Supply = C139PL
Deere = AA 3680 R

Take a look at the location of the oil filter cap and drain plug.

Hope this helps.

I drained the oil, then started loosening the filter cap. Some water, then what felt like 90 weight. I thought I mike be draining the transmission! A few more questions
Where do I add the new oil?
Where is the transmission drain and fill?
Is there a service manual I can get to answer other questions that will come up?

This JD sure is different than my Ford 641 and my Farmall A....

"Where do I add the new oil?"

Take a look at the photo below of the breather cover.

Turn the breather cover counter-clockwise to remove it.

Remove the filter then add oil.

"Where is the transmission drain and fill?"

Take a look at the photo below of the transmission plugs.

You might need to move the drawbar out of the way to access the drain plug underneath.

Take a look at a photo of the rear drain plug.

When adding transmission oil, fill to the bottom of the threads of the filler hole.

The operator's manual recommends 4 1/2 gallons.

Hope this helps.
