Jd LP tractor engine oil

I know im probably beating a dead horse here but what type of oil should I use in my 1955 and 1958 LP tractors the manual calls for a single viscosity of 20-20W or a multi viscosity of
10W-30. Im just not sure what brand I should Run.

I think most folks here run a 15W-40 Delvac or Rotella, Old runs a thicker 20W-50.

In the two 730LP's we have, we just use the 15W40 that my brother uses for all the new farm tractors. I think it's Schaeffer Oil currently.

A low-ash oil is recommended for all LP tractors. I got NAPA to find and order it in for me. kelly
