quick hitch and 1 bottom plow

A friend (even dumber than I) got a one bottom green plow and has a quickhitch on his tractor. He thinks the lift arms on the tractor are vertically non-adjustable and wants to know if it will work on his plow since one hook-up pin is naturally higher than the other. I've seen the plow but not the tractor, will this work or can be made to work? Can he hook it up by engage the lower pin and continue lifting to engage the other and the top hook? Would it be better to back the tractor up on blocks so it will tilt to match the angle of the pins? He shudda figured this out before he bought the plow, but I've done dumb things too . . .

Thanx!

I thought the arms are still adjustable on a quick-hitch but I dont own one. One side is lower on the plow for your tire to run in the furrow on multiple bottoms. A single bottom might not need as much drop. There should be an adjuster on the plow to tilt the drawbar some that will make it plow straight. Watch some youtube videos for education on plowing.
