(quoted from post at 16:07:43 06/09/17) To settle an argument, where do the decals on a 530 go, the 530 part is what I'm talking about.

Be careful, most people put these decals on wrong. If you look at the TRUE originals, the flywheel side of the tractor, "John Deere" the letter "N" in John goes right below the fuel filler cap. Now that you know where the left John Deere goes on the hood, you know where the right one goes. Also the "John Deere" is centered top to bottom by using the measurement of the yellow on the hood, top to bottom as a guide, where where the yellow stops and hits the front part of the dash (centered top to bottom using the back edge yellow of the hood). Many set those decals too high and/or too far back on the hood.

The numbers, in your case "530" is centered on the side of the grille from front edge of the yellow, to the back edge of the yellow of the grille. The top of the numbers are the same height as the "John Deere" on the hood.

It's too bad that some put so much work in their tractor, and it looks really nice, but then they don't due the proper research when putting the icing on the cake. But, technically an owner can do whatever they want with their own tractor. In this case, you want to do it right.
