On the 2240 there are 2 hydraulic remotes. When using either lever to raise up sometimes it is smooth and other times it chatters and raises slow and choppy. The 3 point has the same reaction. Need help in determining the problem. Thanks.

first thing to do would be to check oil level in hydraulic system, if that is good change hydraulic filter and sump screen(if that has one)

Might be time to do some pressure
checks.First check charge pump pressure if
that's good need to check standby pressure
of main pump.

If it works good sometimes and not others is it possible that it could be the valve?

My guess is hyd stand-by pressure(2250 psi) &/or flow is fluctuating caused by an internal hyd leak. Some serious diagnostics is needed to determine hyd problem
