Both my tractors have issues with there fuel gauges, when full they both read full, they stay on full till somewhere close to half full, then if you stop and turn the switch on they read 1/2 full,if you run the
tractor they both tend to bounce between 1/2 and full until they get to some where between 1/4 and 1/2 then they bounce between empty and 1/2. I have checked the OHM reading from the sender at full they both
read 29-30 ohms,at half 15 to 18 ohms,so I think the sender is O.K.,I have checked the resistance on the gauge,it reads 30 ohms between the sender terminal and ground which according to the manual is
correct.Any ideas to fix the problem? I have checked all the connections and continuity of the leads I'm kind of at a loss as to live with it or has someone else had this problem on these series tractors and
found the fix. Thanks in advance.
