Does anyone Know where can get a Repair kit for 4010 John Deer propane tank valve RegO # 7130BR. My propane dealer is worthless.

Those are expensive from JD for sure. We took ours out and took them apart and made a new seal out of a piece of rubber. They aren't hard to take apart at all.

Here's a LPG valve I located with Google.

I just posted and it only shows up in classic view. Davenport tractor has a rebuild kit that might fit the bill.

Also if yours has a pin to lock it together just get a new valve, the threads get messed up, unless you got lucky.

the long stem bonnet assembly is no longer made by Rego There are a few left out there but they cost an arm and a leg. you can replace the the gasket and seat without taking the valves out of the tank. the REGO part number is 3100-80B. any LP dealer can order these. simple repair. if you use both vapor and liquid valves replace them both while you have the tank empty, saves time later since they are both the same age.
