I have my fathers 1956 john deere 320U and was wondering how much to sell it for.The engine is seized from water getting down muffler. It is in fair condition other wise.thanks Craig

Usually "running" will bring more than seized. Is there a good shop around that can take the engine apart, install new rings , hone the bores and bolt it back together ?
Large auctions such as those advertised in Green Magazine have the desired audience.

I would buy it "as is" but would deduct the estimate for the engine repair from my offer.....

Where are you located and how much trouble do you want to take or would you prefer just to sell it quick? Craigslist works good but you get to deal with some interesting people. Tom

I would give between $600 & $1000 depending on tires and sheet metal. With a seized engine there's just too many way's for a buyer to lose his backside going any higher.

Location?

am in New York State and am going to try and get it running then sell it. I think we will make out better. Thanks Everyone

(quoted from post at 07:10:39 05/28/17) Can you send some pictures? Does it have a serial tag? Email is open.
es it has serial number. From what I have seen they only made 960 320U tractors. I seen some adds for sale for $5-7 thousand that look worse than ours. I will try to figure out how to upload photo. Thanks
