4430 A/C Compressor

Put a Delco type compressor on this about 8 months ago. See it leaking Freon around back side of compressor. What about the Sanden types?

If its leaking on the rear then try to tighten the 4 nuts on the back. I but my Delco compressors from the auto parts store..there a heck of a lot cheaper than deere.

I have quit using the Delco compressors,,too many failures, leaking out the rear is common,, I have been getting AP air conversion kits, much better system. And when you use an Automotive Delco compressor the belt pulley is smaller, then the stock belt is too long to work,,if you add to the tightener then the pulley rubs the lower Radiator hose...

AP Air, the company that makes it as hard as possible to order from, but yet stays in business.

On the contrary Richard, They have a dealership level that works very well, here in central Ohio if I order before 3PM it is delivered next day to me, I am very happy with them..

If a delco is leaking out the back it is usually the heat switch leaking. Delco's are junk anymore. I too started using Sanden conversion kits from Ap air with
great success. A much more reliable compressor and they have a kit for just about every color and model.

Forget the Delco A6, I replaced the Delco on my 4430 with the sanden
compressor and line kit from AP air in 2008 and haven't had a problem
since. I'm not sure there was ever a good A6 compressor.

How did you become a dealer? Must be your good looks and charm. I know several people that inquired about a dealership and they can't even get a call back.

I went through Ag Parts LTD. and filled out the forms, along with Reliance engine parts,,I did this when I found out that My Mega Deere dealer was getting the same parts and doubling the price.. It is part of the "You can Kiss My ###" program with my uncaring local dealer...
