Here is a few pics of my neighbor's Ds. The first one top left his father bought new back when they moved here. His previous tractor was a Massey 101. His father was farming in South Dakota renting land. Wanted to buy some land to get established but couldn't find any so he came over here were land for sale was plentiful and cheap. He had an auction and they still have copies of the auction flyer. After working a few years in the oil field and as a hired hand for farmers including my great grandpa he finally got started farming with this D. He ended his farming career on a JD 4640 which they still have too. Both Ds are electric start but only one has lights and the other had a PTO. Both have generators driven off the fan. My neighbor has a 3rd Styled D in the shed all original.
