While converting my 4010D to 12 volt, I thought I would finally plumb in the joystick that I bought 3 years ago. For the input, I did not use AN14024 cost $48.28, I used a 6803-10-10-10 cost $5.66. I plumbed the return into the rock shaft return, as I think it looks better than the ported filter cover. I did not use AK40462 cost $40.13, I used a 6804-12-12-12 cost $7.50 and a 6503-12-12 90 degree adapter cost $12.52. After that, I did my own UN-scientific speed comparison:
From rear svc with a JD48 loader: Raise 9 seconds, lower 5 seconds, dump 4 seconds, roll back 4 seconds
From joystick with a JD48 loader: Raise 8 seconds, lower 4 seconds, dump 4 seconds, roll back 3 seconds
I think I will like the joystick, but will REALLY like having the rear svc's open even more.
