Planting sweet corn today and noticed the roller chain from the press wheels to the jack shaft was missing.CRAP! Found it but would replacing it be an easier option than repairing considering its age? Does Deere still carry them? How do you repair a roller chain and fit it to the application? Direction welcome!

They make connector links and half links to fix roller chain. Farm stores usually have chain. Ron Mn

Over the years I have repaired/shortened many,many roller chains utilizing repair links available at most equip dealers/farm stores & a chain breaker tool similar to photo below

Your referring to the drive chain which is a standard 32 which you can get from TSC, DEERE, CNH, ect....

OOPS #32 is link not roller chain.
