Do all 30 series John Deeres have a black dash? I see one for sale that the dash looks green and it is definitely an original tractor. Maybe the owner painted it at one time?

I think quite a few got another coat of paint at sometime, and there were two colours, Green and Yellow. Black and masking tape would be too much to expect....
 
Two Cylinder magazine has in the past published some photos taken in the factory showing the painting of the tractors. It
appears the entire tractor was painted green and then they came back and painted the dash black. So on a faded original
tractor its likely the black has pretty much oxidized away over the years and the green is still visible. I'm confident every new 30 series two-cylinder left the factory with a black dash.
