How rare are 630LP's? I know 530LP's are rare, so they're out of my price/trade range, but was wondering about the next one up.
I have a 530 gas and 630 gas that sit too much, and though that the LP versions would be better for the long sitting times to avoid the fuel going bad. Our 730LP's start right up as long as we have good batteries... And since there aren't any 530 and 630 diesels, LP it is. Or since the big ones and small ones are the only ones that get used any more, maybe it's time for new homes... I don't know... Hmm... The 530 was the first 30 series I bought.

Page 69 of the book written by JR Hobbs JD 30 series 2nd Edition has the answers.

I couldn't remember which book it was. I have the 30 series (production log?) book but it's just sn's and delivery locations. It would have taken me a LONG time to count them all up...

(quoted from post at 13:22:01 05/13/17) From Mr. Thinker's Almanac:

Out of 17,307 Row Crops, 1,872 were LP.
735 Standards, 16 were LP.
17 Hi-Crops 3 were LP.

That's the other book I should have ordered...
I just ordered the 20 and 30 series books. Oh well, baby steps.
So it still means I'm not trading 630 for 630LP even up. Unless the 630LP is really rough.

YOu never know. A lot of people are afraid of LP (or at least don't want to bother with it)... so that doesn't help demand for LP tractors.
