JD manure spreader

Can anyone tell me what model spreader this is and what it's worth? As you can see its in good condition and all metal. It's mule drawn and has the original tongue and also a tractor pulling tongue. The box on the front is not part of it or the junk in the back. Just looking at the mechanical part of it doesn't look like it's been used very much. It has the double tree and single trees that are laying across the foot rest. Thanks for your help.

To narrow down the size, you could measure the width, length and height of the box (ahead of the beaters). I think size ratings were roughly double the volume of the box. One cubic foot = 0.8 bushels.

Worth? Depends on where it is, and the potential buyer(s). I could see some Amish paying $150-$7 or $800, maybe more. Probably only a few people would want it as a tractor-drawn machine as it wouldn't turn or back easily with a tractor. Suggestion, if it is anywhere near you, try to sell it at the Waverly, Iowa sale or the Montgomery, Indiana or other sales attended by Amish and/or horse-farmers. kelly

Jim is right. It is a HH. I know people who would pay dearly for that. My neighbor has an L and an R, and uses a cart to hold the drawbar so horses can pull it. Where are you? They might be interested?
