A friend's JD 8300 shut down without warning in the field. Would not start afterwards. Came back the next day and managed to get it going long enough to get it into their drive shed. Then tried to restart several times and no luck. Starter will turn over but will not fire up. Does anyone have any ideas of what could cause this to happen? Diagnosis can get expensive if you don't know where to start to look.
