Just when you think you've seen everything. I got my parts for this '49 A I got a few weeks ago and got it running last night and it had a vibration in it when you revved it up, so I checked the flywheel bolts (good) and then pulled the clutch cover off and found out the guy before me had let the cast iron clutch disc either get loose and wobble on the crankshaft. So instead of getting a new disc/hub, I find out he decided to use a stick welder and attempt to weld the hub directly to the crank. It didn't hold and continued to wobble. It had goobered up weld all around the crank end, so I had to die grind that out to get the disc off. Thought I'd share...
