My 2040 seemed to run a little warmer than I thought it should a few years ago. The water pump that was on it was probably the one it came with, so I ordered one to
replace off of eBay. The pump they sent me looks like a better pump than the original, and it seems to work great. But it has two ports coming out of it that were
probably for heater hose to a cab. My tractor is open-station. I've had a slight coolant leak for several years because the hose sizes I have on hand don't seem to seal
on these nipples. Five-eighths is slightly large for the nipple. Could these be made for a metric size hose?
