4450 hydraulics

I have a 4450 with the 15 speed powershift that the hydraulics have quit on. Everything was running fine, stopped the tractor to fuel up, used the loader to lift the front wheel to check the hub oil levels and left the wheels up when I turned the tractor off.

Upon restarting there were no hydraulics of any kind. No remotes, the tractor would not move and the steering had no power. The second time it was started the tractor would drive and the steering returned but still no remotes. I used this opportunity to get the tractor the 100 feet to the shop and turned it off. Now when the tractor is started there are no hydraulics again. Hydraulic oil is at the correct level, clean, and no smells. Hydraulic filters were all changed approximately 30 hours ago because it was time to change them. There are 5500ish hours on the tractor.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong with this thing? Thanks in advance.

Good chance it's sheared the transmission pump drive gear
woodruff key it all behind the control valve on the left side of
the transmission that's where I'd look first

Those were my first thoughts too. Then I remembered cleaning all of the hydraulic system out this winter (aprox 30 hours ago). I very much appreciate your reply, thank you.

I had wondered if that was the issue as well. Would the tractor be able to move across the yard once if the key was sheared? I am asking because I do not know.

I have never seen that trans pump key fail..but that would be a good place to start looking..when you said it would not move, that points to that pump,, then latter it would move,,maybe the gear started to guald a bit to let it start to pump..you can change that pump out the left side behind the clutch operating valve, the left front cab mount will need to come off to get to it all..
