LA differential seals

Does anyone have any hints or suggestions how to remove and reinstall the differential seals on a LA tractor? I've got my final drive on the LH side split apart and can get at the seal to remove and reinstall, i'm just not entirely sure how to do either. The RH side will be tougher yet, as it's the "long" side of the axle housing. Worst case I can pull the transmission out, but i'm hoping to avoid that if possible.

Just did one of these, I don't think it's possible without removing the differential. The seal was difficult to remove with the differential on the bench, and equally as hard to install. Had to bevel the leading edge of the seal to get them installed.

I pulled out my differential to do it on my LA. Actually had a shop install the seals for me because I could not get them to seat level on my own.
