Late D idle speed

What do you consider the practical idle speed on a model D? I say "practical" because you can find videos of two cylinders running at 150 RPM, but my guess is a tractor tuned to run that slow isn't practical for field work. None of my D stuff gives an idle RPM.

I can't remember if I saw it in a manual or if it was one of the times I threw a hand tach on my 38 DI, but 400 or 450RPM seems right. If I get motivated and start it today I'll see where it idles and report back

The operator's manual for my DI (DIR 225) says "with lever nearly back against stop, engine should idle at 350-400 RPM"

I just measured mine at 450 RPM. Maybe I could tweek it slower, but this seems like a comfortable idle speed to me. This is with cast iron low compression pistons, and on gas. It would idle there on kero as well.
