A friend wants to sell his father's tractor. I had known his father, Floyd, since 1960. Floyd passed last year at the age of 92.
Floyd was the auto mechanics mechanic. That is how he made his living.
The tractor has a rebuilt engine and decent paint but not show quality. Flywheel start. The rear tires are total scabs mounted on
solid dish rims, obviously not original. The front bolster is 4 bolt. I believe that is correct for the year. Any other things
that might help trying to value this B?
My estimate was something less than $1500, but I'm not a JD guy. My grandfather had (and my cousin has) a 1951 (I believe) B.
