1935 Unstyled B value range

A friend wants to sell his father's tractor. I had known his father, Floyd, since 1960. Floyd passed last year at the age of 92.
Floyd was the auto mechanics mechanic. That is how he made his living.
The tractor has a rebuilt engine and decent paint but not show quality. Flywheel start. The rear tires are total scabs mounted on
solid dish rims, obviously not original. The front bolster is 4 bolt. I believe that is correct for the year. Any other things
that might help trying to value this B?
My estimate was something less than $1500, but I'm not a JD guy. My grandfather had (and my cousin has) a 1951 (I believe) B.

People like to identify tractors. So a legible serial number adds to the value. Also you know the history and that the tractor was serviced. The rebuilt engine is a good value also. A wide front is good also. Narrow takes away value. The antique tractor market is slow compared to the early 2000s. I could see the tractor selling in the 500 to 1500 range at the local auction. Maybe more if two people wanted the tractor.

I have a 1935 JD-B 9409 is the serial number of it. It was my grandfathers tractor and he got it in 1940. I even have the owners manual that came with it when new. You would not want to try to buy this one my mom set the price tag on it but it was her fathers tractor. My grand kids have played on it just like I did when I was a kid

1500 seems cheap to me for a 4-bolt 1935. I would say 2000 to 2500.00 if its has all the correct parts and has rebuilt engine.
