4055 charging issue

I am working on a 4055 trying to trace out the charging circuit. I don't have a 55 series book or wiring diagram. What I've found is the connector at the alternator that has two wires, one is voltage sense (should be hot all the time) and the other should be hot with ignition on to turn on the regulator. This wire is also hot when the ignition is off, so it will slowly drains the batteries. I've traced it back to the connection at the dash, but past that I'm going in blind and I have no desire to hack at it.

Anyone run into this before or have a wiring diagram they could share?

Thanks,
Mike

I am no mechanic but I had a case tractor that I had loaned to a good friend. While he had it he decided to replace the plug with the two wires
that you are talking about that plug into the alternator. When he replaced the plug he got the two wires reversed and that created a battery
drain. I reversed the wires and problem solved

Anyone?
I've pulled the connector off the key switch, that's not the issue.

Does anyone have a fuse panel diagram?

Here's the chart from my 4255 operator's manual which is the same for 4055.
