4010 steering

after blowing 2 priority control valves in half, I found that my stroke control valve was stuck, the screen filter element had come apart and a piece of wire was stuck between valve and guide. I took a chance and just rebuilt stroke control, instead of getting whole pump rebuilt. After putting tractor back together I have no steering, will turn to left, but will not budge to the right. I bled air but no change, would this likley be steering valve was damaged when the priority valves blew. Pressure must have been incredibly high to break priority valve in pieces

The stroke valve would have had to be stuck in the closed position to make high pressure, and that can happen,,but it's rare. Your valve could have been worn to be very near out of calibration,,and then it went over the edge to where it won't steer one way. If you want to send it to me I can re-build it and bench test it for you $380 plus shipping and it weighs #75

Thanks for your reply Tim S, I will take you up on the steering valve rebuild, but will be a coupe weeks before I have time to remove it from tractor. I might have to cut a whole in the end of my shed to get the tractor back in it with only steering to the left. thanks again, will be in touch
