I'm new to this forum, so please let me know if I'm in the wrong place for these questions or if anything inappropriate.
My brother and I have 2 1956 JD 420Ts that belonged to our Dad. We are considering selling them, as they just are not being used. Both were running and had been in use. They had been in what I would call Farm Use Condition Ie not perfect paint or maintained for looks or show... just practical farm condition. They have sat with very little use for some time now... though I think they both could fire up. Both are still 6V. One is double front wheel tricycle, and the other is single fat front wheel tricycle. The unique aspect is that they have sequential serial numbers. That was something my Dad appreciated, but I'm not sure how much value JD enthusiasts would place on it.
As I said... at this time we are just considering, and wondering what values might be reasonable to place on them and if there would be interest by anyone in keeping them under single ownership.
What do you think?
