JD L Frame Question Help needed

So I feel like I am pretty well read on the L series and have asked some of the best "L" people what this frame is that I have.
Here is what I need help on: 1) I have a solid frame with a clutch pedal mount for a Hercules engine(mount welded to bottom of frame) with no evidence that there any altercation. 2). The front axle is solid like the frame. You can not see the spindle tube come up through it like all other L's on the ends. Again no altercations and all the welds are consistant with all factory welds. 3). Early style front wheels with no holes for weights. 4). The fenders are L style and not "flat" like the LA's.
So with all these things on a solid frame what is it that I have? Unfortunately no serial tag and I can not see the holes either for the drive rivets. One last thing, it does have a side shift tranny but that does not mean too much in my opinion.
Just looking for what stories this frame has to tell.

See pages 84 and 85 of the January 2017 issue of Green Magazine for the complex history of L series frames.

I went back and re-read it , thanks. Clear as mud lol. But this is a solid "Herc" frame. Still seems strange, especially with a solid front axle.
