4640 poly hydraulic line leak problem

I have a leak in a foot-long piece of poly hydraulic line that comes off the top of the casting ahead of the hydraulic pump, under the fuel tank. It runs down to a longer line that continues down the frame to the back.
I am thinking this is a steering control line or some such thing. But can't find it in the Deere parts manuals online. Checked hydraulics, steering, transmission, brakes ... no luck.
Any ideas?

probably the line that carries weep oil from between the inner high pressure shaft seal and the low pressure outer shaft sealback to the transmission sump..

Or, more likely, it's the steering "motor" case drain.

The short nylon line, as discussed here, is a case drain from steering "motor" to a tee at main/front pump case drain port. A MUCH longer nylon line connects to the other side of that tee, and runs back to the transmission case.
