7200 Vacuum Planter Hydraulic Shutoff

I recently bought a 7200 planter with the vacuum system. I will be running it with a power beyond block on a late 3020. The planter has a valve with a round knob, part no AA38545, plumbed in the pressure side of the vacuum motor hose (it is attached directly to the ISO hydraulic tip). I understand this works to regulate the vacuum, but can it also shut the power beyond flow off completely? Or should I also put in a ball valve on the tractor side of that supply line to take the pressure off when going down the road, not planting, etc?

Lon, I installed a power beyond block to run my 1760 off my 4020. I installed a ball valve right at the PB block and it works well. Not hard to shut it off before folding the planter. Mike
