F120 john deere mold board plow

I have a F120 4 bottom John Deere breaking plow trip has starting tripping plowing up bermuda sod one beam has starting tripping when plowing no hanging on any solid objects .is there a way to increase pressure on trip load. any solutions to problem appreciated.

There were shims that could change trip resistance but more than likely you have other problems. Trip the bottom by hand and start by looking for a broken spring,then check the roller that it is not broke and turns freely. Then examine the trip standard as they will wear in the groove the roller goes in or even knock a corner off. We had limestone rock and would break a roller once every year or two.I think the standard is the same as a f145 so there are plenty of parts to be had. I still have a roller kit in the shop even though I have a farm with no rocks. Tom
 
I have a shim kit but you will want to look at the trip mechanism to check for damage.
