Thanks for the comments earlier regarding this subject. Now you got me really curious. I ordered what should be the correct LED Top Cab Flashers/Turn Signals for my 4250 from Shoup for $49 each. I am anxious to see if they work ok without changing other components. There is no mention of having to change other components so we will see.

By the way, at least appearance wise the same lights can be had from many places for the $49. From JD they are about $61-$62. I don't know if they are any different

More later.

I'm sure they are the same,,it's normal for Deere to mark up the price 50-100%,,,they have to pay for all those fancy stores and dead wait employees some how...just saying...

I am sure you are correct Tim. That price difference is really quite small compared to the fenders. Wow!

I am expecting the LED lights I ordered are designed for that application so no other component changes are required. As you know the LED lights need some form of preconditioning circuit to deal with voltage, current and impedance presented back to the sourcing circuit. So we will see and I will report back. Since all the sources I have seen appear to have the same assembly, it stands to reason they are all sourced from one manufacturer that designed it for that application.

Regarding the rear top flood lights, as was said before they only come on in F-Hi. I checked and that is not the case on this tractor. All the other lights work in that switch position. My next check will be at the lighting relays since there does not appear to be any plug style connectors between the lights and the relays. I just need to get the dash panel off. I am a big guy with a stiff back so I will wait for my young H.S. friend to pull that panel. Oh, I checked the grounds, they are good. :)

I put LED bulbs in the rear driving lights and bought the Deere H4 replacements for the front 4 roof lights on the 6200. Found them cheaper than Deere as well online. No special relay or resistor needed for driving lights. It's only the flashers that normally cannot deal with the change.

Sorry, can't help much on the switch.
