During hay season last year the 60 started spin oil out of the back of the belt pully. Then it quickly lost its clutch. Pulled it apart clutch disc are dry and fairly new. No oil on this side of belt pully. Pulled belt pully and don't see a seal just a grudgy dust cover. I think I have two problems.

Crankshaft seals two of then are bad and need replacing, this will stop the oil slinging. then the clutch just needs adjustment. While you have it down for repair good time to redo the clutch also replace bushing and bearing. I did my 50 15 yrs ago and still going strong. Good Luck.

The crankshaft seal(s) will be behind the PTO drive gear if your tractor has live PTO.

Ok I think it does have live pto we got it last summer and used it about a month. I know it does have the factory PS if my memory is right it's a 56. Will do some more looking in the book.

Crankcase under slight vacuum or under pressure ?

Engine oil is going past the crank seals on the right side that,s the clutch side extra oil ends up in trans and first red cover then it will throw out the pulley. you need to replace the seals and drain the cover and the trans refill with 80 90 w put 1 qt in the cover

Grandpa said he thought it would have to be them seals too I will check tranny fluid and see if it's a little full and thin.

A lot of blowby and a lack of venting will put the crankcase under pressure and tend to force oil out.
Could also be an oil hole drain back problem in the pulley side main bearing housing.

Your thinking the crankcase breather is plugged. I never added oil to the crankcase in the 40 or so hrs we used it. I think I wore most the oil. Something else to check.

transmission over filled , from water getting in or condensation possible check oil level in trans . Drain clogged on shroud behind belt pulley possible .

There is no engine oil in the pulley side housing it runs on the trans oil. so there is no drain back hole as no trans oil should get in the engine
