This is a tired old subject, but my brother in law is selling 2 tractors, a 630 thats nice, the one I use for plow day, and a 2510. I looked up prices as good as I could and came up with a average of $2700 for each, He has been told they each are worth $6500 each, Can anyone tell me if this sounds right? One guy said, if thats what you want I will pay. Thanks for any responses

A picture of each along with a rundown of what is going on with the engine, transmission, hydraulics, etc. will tell us more than we know currently. 2,700 per tractor seems low but I would point out there is a big difference between asking price on a website and what goes on in the real world at an auction.

At $6500 they both better be real sharp with wide fronts and three point and some weights. The $2700 is on the cheap side. Here in WI the market is more like $4000 and ad an extra $1000 if 2510 is a diesel. At a sale today and a 4020 diesel that was only fair bought $5100.Tom

The 2510 is put away for the winter , he has retired and doesnt use it anymore, its original paint, not beat up, 3 point , wide front, everything works.aftermarket cab. Here is the 630.

That 630 is probably a 4,000-4,500 dollar tractor at auction here. It needs to have an original wide front end to get over 5,000 and the way it currently is a bad day at the auction might mean 3,750 dollars or there about.

The collectors are hot on 2510's as of late. A straight WFE, 2 remote, SR, diesel should not have much of a problem getting to 6,500 dollars. I don't know how much you can benchmark 4020's anymore as anybody who was looking for one has got it by now. Even '72 Synchro Range's for the most part do not clear 12,000 dollars unless it has new high end tires and is in perfect condition.
