Good day all. This is my first post on the site. I didn't see an introduction area, but since I have a John Deere, I figured why not here.
I do have a question about the R though. The Crank that is on it seems to have work down where the flywheel goes on. I actually have a new flywheel, but if I install it, I know that the same thing that happened to the last one will happen. You have to tighten it down on the Crank so much that it actually cracks the flywheel.
Has anyone ever encountered this issue? And if so, what was your solution? At this point I figure my options are - Buy a new crank (probably expensive if you can find it) OR Remove the crank and have a machine shop turn it and insert some sort of bushing to take up the slack.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
