John Deere 4020 Spindle

I broke the spindle (AR55180)on my 4020. Is an A&I spindle just as good as an original John Deere spindle. Are there any better one out there?

I have a JD 158 loader on the tractor for the better part of 30 years and this is the first spindle that I have broke. As much as I would like to put a 30/40 series front end under it, it probably will not happen.
 
There is no guarantee that the Deere spindle and the A&I spindle will not be one and the same,,in the old days we had better luck with the Deere spindles on our 4020/158, then we put the 4430 front end under it and the problem was solved,it is a very good deal to switch them over.
 
I don't know if the spindles are the same since
Deere owns A&I but the quality is still good.
I know some Deere/A&I parts are the same though.
 
I have looked and looked for the conversion kit for 4020 to 4430 front end.

Are they still available?
