JD 5220 gas gauge and hours not listed

My JD 5220 tractors hours screen is blank and the gas gauge does not work are these connected to the same electrical connection or fuse.

Also the three point lift will not stay level from the back of the tractor the right side is lower, tried adjusting the arm but it is only temporary. Seems when I first hook up an attachment it will stay level for a while does not seem to be any hydraulic leaks though. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't have first-hand experience, but I was told the 5000 series dash failure requires complete replacement. I hope this is not your scenario.

Looks like there's a snap ring on either side of the rockshaft that holds the splined extension of the rockshaft to the rockshaft itself. Perhaps one of those snap rings has is broken or somehow came off.

I am afraid you're right and it costs in the neighborhood of $350.

The three point hitch is a solid shaft from one side to the other. If the lift arms arm moving independent of each other then the shaft must be broken internally. Which is hard to believe because it's a solid 2 1/2" shaft or so.
